I've found something interesting yesterday when teaching Jerlin English...
quite fun to know actually... look carefully...
Animals that seem to have no ears:
Lizard: there are small ear holes just behind the eyes
Mole: it does not have outside ears
Frog: the ears of a frog are below and to the side of the eyes. You can even see the frog's eardrums
Bird: It has ears hidden below the cheek feathers
Dolphin: It hears sounds through its lower jaw
How do Koalas look after their young?
As soon as it is born, the babay crawls into a pouch on the mother's stomach.
the baby can crawl into the pouch without hellp from the mother koala.
it attaches itslef to the mother so it can drink milk.
the newly born koala is about the same size as a coin.
about six months after birth, it crawls out of the pouch.
baby koalas are always carried around by their mothers.
when the mother koala jumps from one tree to another, her baby holds onto her fur tightly.
the mother carries the baby around on her back once it is too big to get into the pouch.
about the time this little Australian animal stops drinking milk, its mother begin to feed it eucalyptus leaves she has half eaten.
when it rains, the mother koala wraps herself around the baby so that it does not get wet and catch cold.
isn't this interesting?
I think i'm getting to like science more and more!!!
I just dont understand why... :}
