Life in Brunei is like a roller coaster. Sometimes, it’ll reach the very bottom of the ride. That’s when I don’t even have the slightest idea of what I’m suppose to do, don’t understand the coding etc. At times, it’ll also reach the highest peak on the track. And that’s when I get to go out for shopping and go to their famous places for a tour.
Here’s my timetable for last week and up till today: uh hmmm… here goes…
Monday to Friday: work, work, work.
Saturday: Went to THE MALL (name of shopping centre) and bought a top, shop for the whole day.
Sunday: Went to THE EMPIRE (hotel cum country club) to celebrate mother’s day with my boss’s family. Took lots of photos… (below)
But the most important thing is that I wanna go home!!!! Miss home so so so much… Here can “shi(4) ying(4)” but still it doesn’t feel at home. Whatever you do, you have to be aware of the surrounding at you are in, be it at home or outside. So it can be very tiring sometimes. The noise that the kids are making is totally unbearable. They are making such a din almost every meal and even at home!!! Cry and shout like nobody’s business. But no choice, have to bear with it… it gives me headache everyday especially when I can’t finish my work and can’t think properly, but I still have to listen to their cries. Ok enough of complaining. Time to view photos!!!!!

Only part of it...
I have reached brunei safely on friday... we have to work until late at night, 12 plus... Had to prepare presentation and user guide for the MOE people in brunei to see and learn. Then morning have to wake up at 6.30 to prepare to go Brunei's university for a workshop organised by the company that i'm in. and it lasted all the way till 5 just now...
Brunei is very hot right now... think the temperature is 2 degree hotter than singapore. and because the whole house is air-conditioned, the temperature between the house and outside is whoa... one sky one floor... haha :p
I need your prayers!!! have been feeling tired ever since i've step down from the plane. too much things to do le... I really need some strength!!! also pray for my health!!! I have to be able to adapt into their culture as it is very different from singapore, there's language barrier and er... "environmental" barrier. This place is not as clean as singapore so I really have to try n accept that... other than that, everything is fine for now...
Good thing i've brought my bible along with me... and Jane's book... (i've started reading it yesterday!!!) I thank God that even though I was very tired yesterday, I still manage to read up on the book and my bible... haha :) But I really feel like going home!!! everything is so much tougher here than in singapore... The good thing is that my boss and his whole family are christians, my colleague is also a christian. only my friend is not... so that's one more thing to pray about. I'll try to update you guys on my "zhuang kuang" again when time allows..
