I really wish that I can make full use of the year 2008.
Things to fulfill in the year 2008:
- Chinese New Year Chalet in Febuary
- Graduating in starting of March
- Grad trip in middle of March
- Vocal trainings for CD making and live recording in end of March
- Youth camp in June
- Malaysia trip in December
- Youth overseas trip in December
etc... etc...
What I have achieved in the year 2007 (I can only remember the main things):
- My 21st birthday!
- Tuition for a sec 1 kid (terrible experience)
- Starting of attachment in 10th April
- Went to Brunei in 4th May (my bro's birthday)
- Came back to Singapore on 3rd June (my dad's birthday)
- Start of vocal training for Christmas carolling in October
- Start of CD training in December
The whole month in Brunei is an interesting experience though tough experience too! Although I have 5 soft toys (including dear dear's) and also dear dear to accompany me, but the first 2 weeks there was terrible. I was so sick and tired of eating out everyday for every meal... I was craving for homecooked food and cakes and ice-creams... Then finally, they brought us to have buffets... That was when I just walked straight to the desert section and take all the cakes I can and stuff myself with cakes!! haha =) and there was some lunches when we have it at home. I was thinking finally can get some homecooked food at last!! But it wasnt a good thing afterall.... Cos we were still feeling hungry after lunch... so as usual i went to our "convenience shop" to grab some titbits...
This brunei story will go on as far as the rainbow goes from one end to another... Lots of interesting stuffs to see, to experience... I can also get a chance to feel how it is like to live overseas without parents and it should be around the same as living in a school hostel. Games and shows were played and watched every single night. Songs were also blasted in the room to keep up with the atmosphere...
The Shopping centres there were as interesting as the toilets in Singapore... Nothing to shop, nothing to buy, nothing to be impressed of, not able to shop at one shopping centre for more than 2 hours etc... Absolutely no entertainment at all!!! The only shopping centre I quite enjoyed going is The Mall. The Empire is also very magnificent!!!
The attachment is really a good experience for me... I have done many things which I have never touch before in school... I think I'm better at programming now especially when I sucks at it in school. I also get to try on designing websites for the company, doing administrative work, be a phone operator etc... All these in 6 months!!!
I enjoyed going for vocal trainings although it was very tiring and tough. I am always short of breathe and not that confident in projecting my vocals. But this training has made me feel slightly more confident and it has also made me be more interested in harmonising and also more open to all sorts of singing techniques... The people in the vocal team also make me feel at ease and at home... I have got to know them better and they always make me laugh and this helps especially when the day is tiring and busy. A very big THANK YOU to you guys: Angeline, Diana Lee, Diana Gwee, Evelyn, auntie Jerriene, Wei Ming, Jonathan, uncle Ding Liang, Da Cheng, Rong Hong. Did I miss out on any??? erm... I don't think so bah...
anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!!!!!!! Left 4 more days of Christmas!!! Enjoy people!!!
