The flight to taiwan is terrible!!! I felt like puking all the way cos I didn't take any pills beforehand. Then until I really cannot take it, I went to the toilet to paste Salompas. Whoa it really works!!! Amazing!!!

The train that we took is amazingly clean! Initially, we didnt buy any ez-link card. So we bought their one-time pass which is a coin (upper right of the picture). You just have to use the coin to tap the card reader and the door will open automatically! Just like tapping using an ez-link card! Because we reached Taipei earlier than expected, we got a chance to tour around for food. Therefore, we tried taking the train to go to Shilin Night Market. That was when we alighted at the wrong stop. Shilin night market is not located at Shilin Station but Jiantan Station. Pathetic! So we had to walk all the way there!!!

These are what we got from Shilin Night Market! Oysters, Eggs, Bubble Tea with lotsa pearls and the super big chicken cutlet which I did not finish. I dun remember eating the noodles but I dunno why there's the noodle in the picture. nvm... hahaha :) The night market is a lot like pasar malam in singapore except it is bigger and there are more games and it is there whole year round! They have a lot of stuffs from food, to bags, to accessories, to clothings, to games etc...

When we went back to the hostel, there was a car parked right in front of it. look at the car plate!! It reads 5000kg!! hahahaha :)

We went to Yang Ming Shan for hot spring!! Booked a room and have our own private bath inside the bathtub!!! haha ;) quite fun la but the fun turned to funny when LYS was screaming and shouting at the next door! "Hot Hot Hot!!!" then followed by "Cold Cold Cold"!!! hahahaha... The scenery at Yang Ming Park was fantastic!!! It wasnt possible to squeeze everything here!!

We went to CKS memorial (Chiang Kai Shek). Up till now I still dunno who on earth is CKS. All I know is he is the old guy on the bottom right of the picture above!! But although it is all about historical site, we still managed to take a lot of pictures there! played with the pictures and the figurines!! hahaha :) The whole building is like the ones in olden days. When you step into the building, you'd just feel that you are walking into a mini old palace.

This Hello Kitty Cafe is GREAT!!! So princessy and it'll keep people fantasizing!! Everything there has a kitty on it! Things are so royal and grand there!! The food are alright! The most important thing is that EVERYTHING IS PINK!!! hahaha :)

More pictures in the Hello Kitty Cafe!

These are taken in the Teddy Bear themed cafe!! The most unique thing is not the teddy bear theme, but the swings that are attached to the ceiling! imagine youself sitting on a swing and eating your lunch or dinner!!! Wonderful!!! Brought back a lot of childhood memories!!

These are taken at Danshui. The food there is delicious!! I loved the eggs and the ice cream!!! Look at the ice cream at the bottom right corner!! It is SUPER tall la.... And we actually ate the ice cream in an extremely cold weather of up to 15 degrees bah!! The first picture shows 3 mini rabbits!! They are gifts to those who managed to hit the balloons!!

We took these pictures at Yu Ren Ma Tou!! The bridge is very unique!!! you can catch different pictures of the bridge from different angles and they will all look different!!! But the weather is COLD!!!

haha this is taken at the Train station to their taipei zoo!! We went there to take the cable car!!

These photos are taken in the cable car. Know what's the name of the cable car? Called MaoKong Cable Car!! not a nice name at all!!! LYS said that he saw a sign stating "you'll see nothing except Greenery" and I can tell you it's true!!! Everything beneath us are trees and more trees!!! nothing to see at all la!!! Waste of time and big disappointment!!!

We went to Jay Chou's Restaurant. This time, it is not a themed restaurant but really the one opened by Jay Chou (Taiwan Pop Singer). Although the interior design is nice, but I dun really like the food. The first few bites are ok, but the following bites are "sianz"... I like the grand piano!! It's so classic!!! Worth all the walking and finding of the place!!!

Lotsa pictures on Taipei 101 which is their most famous building! Though we couldn't get a clear view of the scenery outside due to the fog and the cold weather, we had a fun time inside too! We played around with their stands and their banners... practically everything that we can find in there, we have taken pictures with it! The most amazing part is that when we climbed to the 91st storey, we were almost blown away by the strong wind. It was slightly drizzling and the wind was biting through our jackets. Although the weather was not a good one, it actually allowed me to experience what it is like to be out in the open in this kind of weather!!! I really pity the security guards there as they have to stand in the wind all the time to make sure that nothing happens to the visitors... Thank you!!

This was taken in the Modern Toilet Themed Restaurant. Everything that they used, from the utensils to the decorations, are all related to what you will find inside a toilet!! The feeling of eating from the toilet bowl and "plate" was totally disgusting!! The worst thing is that when they served the dessert, the ice cream was inside a urinal and the shape of the ice cream is exactly like the "shit toy" you find in Mini Toons!!! It almost make me puke!!! :p

We took this at Xi Men Ding where it gets really crowded during the weekends... I bought 6 bags from there as the prices are very affordable and CHEAP with one bag costing around $5 to $7.50 Singapore dollars! Look at the picture located at the bottom right corner! The time is only 6.34p.m. but the sky is dark. Their morning sun comes out at around 4.30 a.m. and their night time is around 5.30 p.m. So by the time it reaches 6 plus, the sky is equivalent to singapore's 8.30 p.m!!!
